1. Neutral Bay in Sydney got its name because Governor Phillip designated it as a “neutral harbour” in 1789, where all non-British ships visiting Sydney were required to anchor, hence the “neutral” title

3. Sydney’s First Tram Terminus – Neutral Bay was one of the first areas in Sydney to get a tram service in the early 1900s, connecting residents directly to the city via a tram-ferry system. The old tram shed has since been transformed into shops and eateries!

4. In March last year, an off the plan apartment sold for $12.75m, the highest price paid for a unit in real estate in Neutral Bay.
