Wondering which Sydney suburbs were the most popular with property buyers in 2023? We thought we knew but even we were a little surprised!
We’ve shared Domain’s list of the Top 10 most searched Sydney suburbs in 2023, which shows the suburbs that captured the attention and hearts of homebuyers.
Arguably, the biggest change in 2023 was the increase in interest in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs with four suburbs on the Top 10 list compared to two suburbs in 2022. The beach suburbs were particularly sought after with Clovelly the #1 most searched suburb in Sydney followed by Bronte. Last year neither suburb made the list, which shows an interesting trend in how we Sydney-siders like to live.
The Inner West continued to be popular with four of the top 10 suburbs making the list versus five suburbs in 2022. Balmain and Lilyfield made the list both years with Marrickville and Haberfield as the new additions.
The North Shore had two suburbs on the Top 10 list compared to 3 last year. Castlecrag continues to be a very popular suburb coming in third position and the quaint harbour-front suburb of McMahons Point joined the list this year.
